K-mart Super Doubles

So...KMart was supposed to be having super double event starting today. They were going to be doubling coupons up to $2 with a limit of 5 coupons per person per day and you needed a shop your way card. So I get my coupons together and find some things I think I can get good deals on and I head over. I had heard that some Kmarts were being weird about this and no one knew anything about it so I thought maybe I should ask first. Of course our ghetto Kmart had no clue except they were nice enough to call the manager and she told them that it was doubling up to $1. Oh well, I went ahead and looked around and found a few things. Here is what I ended up getting.



2 X 44ct Chinet paper plated-$3.29 I had 2 $1 off which doubled to $2
Final Price- 2.58 for 2
Right Guard mens Deodorant-$2.50 $1 off which doubled to $2
Final Price-0.50 cents.

In all I spent $3.63 not bad I guess but could have been better had the deal been working correctly. I would like to go back and see if it would double $2 coupons at the register but not sure if it's worth the hassle. Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend!!

Publix Deals

Today Justin and I went to publix and both scored some sweet deals. I got everything pictured for $8.17 and saved $27.07. It doesn't look like a lot but I think it was a pretty sweet deal considering one of the scrubbing bubbles cleaner was originally $7.99. Here is what I got.

$2/1 in store coupon located with the cheese
=$0.66 each

$0.55 coupon located with the cheese.

both were FREE after coupons.
I'm also going to get another one and submit the SC Johnson $5 Rebate for a $5 moneymaker!!

BTW I cleaned my shower today with the new cleaner and if you hold down the button it sounds like aliens or something. They come with batteries and have a continuous sprayer. Worked well for me to!
